Global Address Validation is a comprehensive API service that validates and enriches address data for both US and international locations. It verifies complete addresses, including secondary address lines (e.g., Apt, Ste, FL), and provides detailed information such as latitude, longitude, timezone, UTC offset, Census Block, Building Location Type, and Global ID. The API supports up to 254 countries with varying levels of geocoding precision—Delivery Point, Premise, Thoroughfare, Locality, or None—depending on the data available for each country. It also determines the validity and necessity of secondary address lines and aligns validation results with CPQ address standardization. The service uses distinct request parameter structures, endpoint URLs, and response attributes for US and international addresses.
